Small Pendant Light BL9

The BL9 pendant light was designed in 1930 by the Bauhaus influenced British designer Robert Dudley Best. With its great heritage and contemporary look, the BL9 pendant light is a coveted design worldwide. Putting the simple yet classic lamp shade in focus, characteristic for the whole collection, the BL9 pendant light gives a directed light perfectly suited for kitchen and dining settings in any interior style. The lamp design was first adopted by garages and the Royal Air Force engineering departments due to its great functionality. A feature in Architects Journal lauding Bestlite with the title of the first evidence of Bauhaus in Britain brought the lamp to the attention of the design conscious.
