Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer Heritage Turandot

Inspired by Giacomo Puccini's opera of the same name, the Turandot decor is an homage to 18th-century chinoiserie, which already played an important role in Rosenthal's designs of the late 19th century. A lavish array of peony blossoms, bamboo, and ginkgo leaves in delicate colors meets golden dragonflies. The source of inspiration for these poetic porcelain paintings lies on the shores of West Lake in Hangzhou, China, and is reflected in the interplay of Western and Eastern elements. Set consisting of tea cup and saucer. Made in Europe
